when i was writting this quote i was ehh i guess you can say kind of in a dark place. but then i started listening to my ipod and all of a sudden i started to feel better. i still am kind of in a dark place, im just not ready for what i life has in store for me yet, so if my friends are reading this i am not sad or depressed i am just thinking ahead and thinking that im not ready. so anyways, music has always been there for me, when i have something on my mind i grab a piece of paper or get on my computer and let my mind generate lyrics pending on how i was feeling up to that moment. i also listen to green day or any other punk bands when i need something to write about, and no i am not taking any of their ideas, but their songs intrigue me. like the song Jesus of Suburbia theres a line in the opening stanza that says im the son of rage and love when i heard this it got me thinking. does rage and love really have a son??? i was confused deeply but then i got thinking. if only i can write a song like this. what would it sound like??? so last night i got thinking. i wrote my first punk rock song and i enjoyed doing it. it sounds nothing like any of green day’s songs but it has the same feel to it. so all i guess im saying to everyone out there is……….. BE GREATFUL THAT WE HAVE MUSIC IN OUR LIVES, IF WE DIDN’T HAVE MUSIC IN OUR LIVES WHAT WOULD BECOME OF PEOPLE TODAY???
